Write a Play in a Day with Sharon

Do you have ideas for stories bouncing around in your head? Want to have some fun getting them down on paper? Join Hilgrove estate resident and theatre director Sharon Willems for a fun, energetic writing session that will jumpstart your writing as you write a short play in an afternoon with your neighbours. Suitable for all levels of experience.

The script from Write a Play in a Day will be performed the following day as part of the Community Creates Spring Celebration. Sign up to write or perform or both.

Suitable for ages 16+ (but if you are below this age - you may still be able to attend. Please just first ask your parent or carer to get in touch with imogen@northcamdenzone.org to discuss further).

This session take place as part Community Creates. The Community Creates programme is a resident-led arts and theatre programme for the north Camden community. It connects local artists, residents and organisations to deliver a series of free arts and theatre workshops and events that the whole community can take part in and enjoy. It is designed and delivered by residents and artists working together, and organised by North Camden Zone and Hampstead Theatre.
